*SOn December 22nd, to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2020) and the 31st anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2020), a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited...visit, offer congratulationsThe Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Provincial Veterans Association.

Presenting flowers to congratulate the armed forces, on behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - acknowledged the contributions of the armed forces and the Provincial Veterans Association; and expressed his hope that the armed forces and the Veterans Association would continue to uphold the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" and work together with the people to ensure national defense and security, contributing to building a strong and prosperous province, to achieve the goal of becoming a relatively prosperous province in the Northern region by 2025 and a relatively prosperous province nationwide by 2030, as set out in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

*SOn December 22nd, the 9th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a meeting.3rd conferenceThrough online discussions across all 63 provinces and cities nationwide, participants contributed to the draft report on the results of the Fatherland Front's work in 2020 and the coordinated action program for 2021; they also discussed and provided feedback on several other key tasks.

In the coming period, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its subordinate levels have the task of participating with all levels and sectors in successfully organizing the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; ensuring democracy, equality, legality, safety, economy, and truly making it a festival for the entire people. In particular, the role of the Fatherland Front at all levels is to consult, select, and nominate qualified candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; resolutely disqualifying those who do not meet the qualifications.

*COn the afternoon of December 22nd, in Vinh City, the Department of Grassroots Culture, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the opening ceremony.Exhibition of large-format propaganda postersPropaganda for the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The exhibition features 65 works by professional and amateur artists nationwide, selected from a poster design competition organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture. The content of the posters conveys messages about the leadership and guidance in building the Party, the political system, and the nation and people of Vietnam during the period of reform and international integration.

*SOn December 22nd, in Vinh City (Nghe An), the Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (NAPC)organize forum"Digital transformation - the key to improving business performance indicators in the new normal."

Based on an overview of the current situation and the overall picture of digital transformation in Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular, the experts answered questions and engaged in discussions with businesses on this topic.

*SOn December 22nd, the Department of Education and Training organized...closing ceremony and awards presentation of the competitionThe provincial-level Science and Technology Innovation Competition for high school students in the 2020-2021 school year concluded with the judging panel selecting 108 winning projects at the provincial level, including 10 first prizes, 25 second prizes, 38 third prizes, and 34 fourth prizes. Additionally, the organizing committee awarded prizes to 8 participating units with outstanding results.

*NOn December 22nd, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Nghi Loc District Police announced that they had successfully cracked a case, in coordination with the Customs Control Team (Nghe An Customs Department), Market Management Team No. 2 (Nghe An Market Management Department), and the Dien Yen Commune Police (Dien Chau District), arresting Tran Duc Cuong (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District, for the crime of "Trading and transporting prohibited goods".
