At 9:00 p.m. on December 23, Le Vu Linh (born in 1995, registered residence: Ward 2, Dau Tieng town) drove an Exciter motorbike with license plate 61H1 - 317.48, carrying Ly Xuan Thang (born in 1996, registered residence: Dinh Phuoc hamlet, Dinh Hiep commune) to the Spicy Noodle Restaurant in Ward 4B, Dau Tieng town to eat.
When the two subjects had just driven to the front door of the Spicy Noodle Shop, they met Truong Hoang Thien Tuan (born in 1985, registered residence: Bac Lieu province, temporarily residing in Quarter 4B, Dau Tieng Town). After the stabbing, Linh drove Thang to Linh's sister's house to store the motorbike, then the two rented a car to go to Can Tho to escape. The victim, Truong Hoang Thien Tuan, was so deeply wounded that he died on the spot.
Immediately after committing the crime, with the help of the Criminal Police Department of Dau Tieng District Police and their families, both subjects surrendered at 2:00 p.m. on December 24. At the police station, the two subjects initially confessed that the victim and the two subjects Thang and Linh did not know each other before.
Currently, the police have detained the subject Thang and continue to investigate and handle him according to the law.
