The revenue in 2020 was assessed to have reached a spectacular finish with outstanding efforts and the context of the severe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. 55/63 provinces completed the budget collection plan.

At the conference, major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong... reported on budget collection and proposed solutions for the coming year. Most opinions assessed that 2020 was a very difficult year but demonstrated great efforts by the entire Party, the entire people, and the efforts of localities and the tax sector.

Nghe An province implemented the 2020 socio-economic development plan in the context of facing many difficulties and challenges but still achieved positive results such as the product growth rate estimated at 4.45%, the state budget revenue reached more than 17,000 billion VND, exceeding the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. The province also performed well the task of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, as well as promptly supporting businesses and people in difficulty.

Review of the 2020 budget work shows: In the context of the epidemicCovid - 19affecting all production and business activities, but thanks to the timely and flexible direction of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the state budget revenue in the area in 2020 exceeded the adjusted estimate of the Provincial People's Council and increased compared to the same period in 2019. However, there are still some revenue items in domestic revenue that have not reached the adjusted estimate of the Provincial People's Council. Budget expenditures meet the important tasks of 2020.
