Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee meets with retired officials under the regime
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 4, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with comrades: Vo Van Tien - former Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Nguyen Lam Son - former Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Dan district, who retired according to the regime.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; leaders of a number of localities and units.

During nearly 39 years of work, comrade Vo Van Tien has held many different positions; especially, in his position as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, he and the leadership team have directed the successful implementation of many emulation movements, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. He was awarded the 30-year Party membership badge, the Third-class Labor Medal, and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.
Comrade Nguyen Lam Son has worked for more than 36 years, holding many positions. As the Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Dan District, he and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee have organized and implemented well and comprehensively all aspects, especially building Nam Dan District into a New Rural District. He was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the work and contributions of Comrades Vo Van Tien and Nguyen Lam Son; at the same time, hoped that they would continue to share experiences and contribute ideas to build the locality where they reside in particular and Nghe An province in general to develop more and more./.
