(Baonghean.vn) - After the match against U19 Thua Thien - Hue on the afternoon of January 18, the U19 SLNA team led by coach Pham Bui Minh is leading with an absolute record in Group B of the 2021 National U19 Qualifying Round.
This year's National U19 Qualifiers will select 12 teams out of 28 participating teams, U19 SLNA is in Group B hosted by Kon Tum, including the teams: Kon Tum, SLNA, SHB Da Nang, Thua Thien - Hue and Nutifood Academy.
The opening match is on January 10th.U19 SLNAopened smoothly with a 2-0 victory over U19 SHB Da Nang with goals from Ho Van Cuong and Cai Van Quy. In the third match on January 15, U19 SLNA's opponent was U19 Nutifood, the team that lost to SLNA in the final match of the National U17 tournament in 2020. This time, Tran Ngoc Dung and Ho Van Cuong were the players who brought home a 2-0 victory for U19 SLNA.
Closing the first leg with a match against U19 Thua Thien - Hue on the afternoon of January 18, U19 SLNA once again maintained their winning streak. In the first half, Nguyen Cong Huy scored to help U19 SLNA take a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, Trinh Hoang Canh and Ho Anh Dung took turns scoring to put U19 SLNA ahead 3-0. The other team only got a consolation goal in the 85th minute thanks to Nguyen Thanh Phuong. The match ended with a 3-1 victory for coach Pham Bui Minh and his team.
Thus, at the end of the first leg, U19 SLNA leads Group B with 4 wins, 12 points, 10 goals scored, and only 1 goal conceded. With this result, the representative of Nghe An is at least 6 points ahead of the opponents behind, regardless of the results of the remaining matches.
