Nghe An industrial parks will recruit more than 11,000 workers in 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a synthesis of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board on the usage needs of enterprises operating in the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province.
Accordingly, this year, atIndustrial parkIn Bac Vinh, 4 enterprises operating in the field of garment export, 1 packaging manufacturing enterprise and 1 aluminum can packaging manufacturing enterprise need about 400 workers.
Meanwhile, in Nam Cam Industrial Park, there are 11 businesses in need of recruiting thousands of workers.labor, including businesses that recruit in large numbers such as Merry & Luxshare Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) will need about 3,000 workers to produce electronic components, garment companies need about 3,000 workers, and frozen seafood processing and preservation sectors will need about more than 1,000 workers.

In addition, Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Nghia Dan Industrial Park, Tho Loc Industrial Park, Hoang Mai 1 Industrial Park and a number of other enterprises also have plans to recruit workers in 2021.
It is expected that the number of workers recruited in 2021 will be 11,044. From now until 2025, industrial parks in the province will need more than 130,000 workers when Nghe An is expected to attract 100 more investment projects, of which 30% will be foreign-invested.
This is a positive sign for the labor market in 2021 after a year when businesses were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, according to the Provincial Labor Federation, in the first 6 months of the year, production and business activities of businesses were affected by the pandemic and many businesses lacked jobs, applied a rotating leave regime, working 4-5 days/week with about 9,000 workers affected. In addition, 89 businesses were dissolved in the first 9 months of the year.
