Leaders of Nghe An province visit and extend New Year greetings to the 4th Military Region Command.

The delegation was led by Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Accompanying him were Comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, and representatives of leaders from several provincial agencies and departments.

Receiving the delegation, on behalf of the 4th Military Region Command were Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the 4th Military Region, and other members of the Party Committee and Command of the Military Region, as well as leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the Military Region.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Thai Thanh Quy, respectfully thanked the 4th Military Region for its valuable companionship, close ties, and sharing with the province over the past time. The 4th Military Region has contributed to the socio-economic development and national defense and security of the province; it has consistently been a reliable support for Nghe An province in promptly resolving emerging and complex issues; in implementing plans and strategies to ensure national defense and security; and in assisting the province in matters of national security…

In particular, thousands of officers, soldiers, and vehicles from Military Region 4 have assisted the province in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as in disaster prevention and control, including floods and forest fires.

In addition, Military Region 4 has carried out many practical activities to help the people of Nghe An province, especially those in remote areas, improve their livelihoods and build roads.

The military region also closely coordinates with the province in ensuring national defense and security, strictly managing the border area with neighboring Laos; coordinating in resolving economic projects in the province; and regularly coordinating with the province to do a good job in supporting the armed forces…

Informing the Military Region Command about the socio-economic situation, national defense, security, and Party building work of the province in 2020, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy stated that despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the province still achieved positive results in various fields last year. These results are the product of the efforts of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province, and especially the effective and timely support from Military Region 4.

Entering 2021, with many challenges anticipated, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy expressed his hope that Military Region 4 would continue to pay attention to and assist the province, creating a solid foundation in the early years of the term for Nghe An to best achieve the set goals and plans; contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year, on behalf of the Party Committee and people of the province, the Provincial Party Secretary sends to all officers and soldiers of the Military Region wishes for a healthy, happy, joyful, and victorious new year, worthy of being the leading flag in the emulation movement for decisive victory throughout the army; and congratulates Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh on being elected to the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of Military Region 4 congratulated the province on its achievements in 2020 and expressed his hope that the province would have new momentum and strength to exploit the potential and strengths of Nghe An province; he also thanked the Party Committee, government, and people of Nghe An province for their support, encouragement, and sharing with the armed forces of the military region in general and the province in particular.

On the occasion of Tet (Lunar New Year), Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh wished the Party Committee, government, and people of Nghe An province, especially the Party committees and authorities, continued unity and solidarity, and the continued preservation and development of the revolutionary traditions of their homeland and the achievements attained in all fields to build a more prosperous province.
