(Baonghean.vn) - Motor vehicles will be allowed to run on Cua Hoi Bridge, connecting Nghe An and Ha Tinh from February 6 to March 15, according to the decision of the Ministry of Transport.
On February 5, a representative of the Ministry of Transport said that it had decidedtechnical informationCua Hoi bridge. Accordingly, allowing rudimentary vehicles, motorbikes, scooters, cars under 15 seats and trucks under 1.5 tons to pass Cua Hoi bridge at a maximum speed of 50 km/h.

Cua Hoi BridgeThe main bridge has been basically completed. However, the 1.1 km long approach road in Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, is still in the loading stage to handle weak ground.
The representative of Project Management Board 6 said that currently, the Cua Hoi bridge project, except for the 1 km approach road on the Ha Tinh side, has basically completed all items, including the traffic safety system. The Ha Tinh approach road from Km2+144.3 to Km3+221 is currently under the loading and settlement monitoring period. For this road section, Project Management Board 6 has directed the contractor to complete the rough rock layer, base and proceed with compaction and irrigation. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Road Management 2 to arrange a system of markers and signs such as narrow road, slow speed, road under loading and settlement monitoring... according to regulations to ensure safety for people and vehicles to travel smoothly.

To serve people traveling during Tet, the Ministry of Transport has directed Project Management Board 6 and contractors to complete the road section under load, ensuring smooth and safe traffic. After Tet, contractors will close the bridge to continue implementing the project.
Cua Hoi Bridge is 5.2 km long, of which the main bridge is 1.7 km long, 18.5 m wide, and the approach bridge is 16 m wide. On the Nghe An side, the project is located in Nghi Hai ward (Cua Lo town), the other end is in Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh). The project started in February 2019, with a total investment of 950 billion VND, of which 450 billion VND is government bond capital, the rest is contributed capital of the two localities.
This is the fourth road bridge, after Ben Thuy 1, Ben Thuy 2 and Yen Xuan bridges connecting Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. The project is expected to improve the traffic system on both banks of the Lam River, creating conditions for economic and tourism development, ensuring national defense and security in the central provinces.
