Nghe An: Highlights of February 24th

*Cafternoon of February 24th,The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held its regular meeting.In February 2021, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee listened to and commented on many important issues. At the working session, the Standing Committee listened to and commented on the draft report summarizing the three-year implementation of Resolution No. 08-NQ/TU dated December 8, 2017, of the Standing Committee on strengthening environmental protection work in Nghe An province for the period 2017-2020, with orientation to 2025.

Also during the working session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed on a plan to allocate funds from the central government to support the khắc phục of damage caused by rain and storms in the province during September and October 2020.

*INCUBATEThe Election Committee for National Assembly and Provincial People's Council representatives of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term has just issued Decision No. 18/QD-UBBC on determining and announcing the number of electoral units, the list of electoral units, and the number of representatives to be elected in each electoral unit for the Nghe An Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

*RStarting from the 4th day of Tet (Lunar New Year), after 7-8 days of fishing far out at sea, hundreds of large fishing vessels from Quynh Luu have docked at Lach Quen fishing port.bringing back many "bounties from the sea"On February 24th, fishermen on their boats were busy transporting a large quantity of seafood to the port; seafood traders were rushing to load trays of fish onto trucks, as the sunny weather meant that leaving them for too long would affect their quality.

*VAt approximately 2 PM on February 24th, passersby discovered a motorbike, wallet, phone, and some personal belongings of a young man left on Ben Thuy 1 Bridge, which spans the Lam River in Vinh City (Nghe An province).Suspected suicide by jumping off bridge.The residents then called the authorities to report the incident.
