Nghe An: Test results of 53 Chinese people who entered the country illegally have been received
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, the authorities are still taking statements and clarifying the illegal entry route into Vietnam.
On the morning of March 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province said that 59 samples related to the sleeper bus carrying Chinese people entering the country illegally had tested negative for Covid-19. However, these people will continue to be quarantined and have more samples taken.

Meanwhile, as of this morning, the Nghe An Border Guard Command is still taking statements from Chinese passengers and bus staff to expand the investigation as well as clarify the illegal entry route into Vietnam. "These Chinese people were gathered in Hanoi and then transported to the South. We are still investigating when they entered Vietnam and how many people there were in total," said a source from the Nghe An Border Guard.

Previously, at noon on March 9, the Border Guard stopped and inspected a sleeper bus with license plate 65B - 017.81 of Tra My bus company when it passed through Hoang Mai town. Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 53 Chinese people illegally entering Vietnam and 4 bus company employees.
Immediately afterwards, the bus was taken to Hung Nguyen District Medical Center for quarantine and further steps. After taking initial statements, the medical team took samples from 59 people. Among them, there were 53 Chinese passengers, 4 bus staff and 2 border guards who directly arrested them.
