According to information from the People's Committee of Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu), at about 9:00 a.m. on March 9, fishing boat TB - 96666 - TS with 9 crew members, captained by Mr. Vu Nguyen Toan in village 6, Son Hai commune, wasseafood exploitationAt coordinates 13 degrees 06 N' 110 degrees 44E, 70 nautical miles east of Dien Cape, Phu Yen province, it was sunk by the cargo ship Olympia - Marshal nationality.

The two crew members currently missing at sea are Nguyen Van Bang (born in 1974), residing in village 6, Son Hai commune, and Nguyen Van Chau (born in 1979), residing in Tien Thuy commune.
It is known that the ship TB - 96666 - TS controlled by Mr. Vu Nguyen Toan was rented from Bien Dong Fisheries Logistics Economic Cooperation Service Joint Stock Company, located in Diem Dien town, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province.
Yesterday afternoon, March 9, after receiving information from Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Son Hai commune visited the family of captain Vu Nguyen Toan in village 6; at the same time, encouraged and shared with the family of missing crew member Nguyen Van Bang.
