Friendly meeting of Nghe An compatriots in Hanoi
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 14, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Liaison Committee of Nghe An Fellow Countrymen Association in Hanoi to organize a meeting of Nghe An fellow countrymen in Hanoi on the occasion of the beginning of the Lunar New Year 2021.

Attending the meeting were comrades: NNguyen Manh Cam - former member of the Politburo, former Deputy Prime Minister;Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; comrades of the Party Central Committee, former members of the Party Central Committee from Nghe An.
Also attending the meeting was comrade Le Doan Hop - Chairman.Nghe An Association in Hanoi; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Association; representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches, generals of the Army, Police and more than 600 children of Nghe An people who are working and retired in Hanoi.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the National Assembly Delegation, Provincial People's Council, Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee and representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Bui Dinh Long informed about the achievements in the fields of socio-economy, national defense and security in Nghe An; at the same time, he outlined the tasks and development solutions of the province in the coming time.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: To successfully implement the set goals, tasks and solutions, in addition to the efforts, consensus and solidarity of the Party Committee, the Government and the People in the province, it is necessary to have more attention from the children of Nghe An living far from home. Nghe An people in the capital as well as many other places, are always the pride, the spiritual support, the valuable assets and the source of strength of the province. The Nghe An Association has many contributions to the province, is a bridge with scientists, intellectuals, artists, helping the province with good and effective ways of doing things.
Comrade Bui Dinh Long also hopes that in the coming time, the Nghe An Association will continue to promote its role, advise, and help the province approach and attract businesses and investors to its homeland...

Representative of Nghe An compatriots in Hanoi, Mr. Le Doan Hop evaluated the activities of the Association in 2020. According to the assessment of Nghe An compatriots living in the capital and the Association of compatriots in other provinces, the Nghe An compatriots Association in Hanoi has had many effective activities; promoting the traditions and good nature of Nghe An homeland when far away from home.
At the meeting, many enthusiastic opinions of Nghe An children in Hanoi contributed to Nghe An province's leaders in socio-economic development; at the same time, they hoped for the solidarity of Nghe An children from all regions to build Nghe An increasingly prosperous.

During the meeting, the Nghe An Association congratulated Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc on being awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State; the 70-year Party membership badge, 2 Second-class Independence Medals, 2 Military Exploit Medals (Second-class, Third-class) and many other noble medals and awards from our State and internationally.
