Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation exchanges and learns experiences at Hanoi City Labor Federation

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 15, in Hanoi, a working delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor led by Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee had a working session, exchanged and learned experiences with the Hanoi City Federation of Labor.

Previously, based on Notice No. 2016-TB/TU of the Hanoi City Party Committee concluding the conference between the Hanoi City Party Committee Standing Committee and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation registered to work with the Hanoi City Labor Federation.

Working with the delegation, on behalf of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation, there was comrade Nguyen Phi Thuong - Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation and representatives of the leaders of the departments and offices of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation.

This working trip aims to enhance exchanges, learning, and gradually improve the quality of trade union activities in the two localities. At the meeting, representatives of the two Federations of Labor gave an overview of the workers' and workers' movement as well as the difficulties and advantages in trade union activities in their localities; exchanged experiences in trade union activities such as: Representation andprotect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; negotiate and sign collective labor agreements; develop,union member management and union establishment; collecting union fees and funds; the annual theme of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor... At the same time, the Labor Federations of the two localities also jointly pointed out the difficulties and challenges of the union organization in the current period and proposed appropriate solutions.

With the policy of promoting exchange and experience sharing activities, the Labor Federations of the two localities have jointly developed a cooperation program in the coming time. The cooperation program will be completed and signed in May 2021.

At the same time, he also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the cooperation between the two units will help the union activities become more and more quality and widespread. Talking with the delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Phi Thuong highly appreciated the cooperation between the two units and affirmed that he will continue to promote this cooperation in the coming time.
