(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An police have just dismantled a transnational drug ring; arrested 3 out-of-province suspects, and seized a large amount of drugs.
At 11:30 a.m. on March 17, at Thai Thinh hamlet, Nghi Thai commune (Nghi Loc), PC04 Department, Nghi Loc District Police, Nghe An Customs Department co-chaired, established, successfully broke the case, caught red-handed 3 subjects: Vu Anh Tuan (born 1997), residing in Phuong Nam ward, Uong Bi city (Quang Ninh); Dao Duy Thanh (born 1987), residing in Phuc Dien ward, Bac Tu Liem district (Hanoi); Phung Cong Chien (born 1994), residing in Phu Son commune, Ba Vi district (Hanoi) for the act of "Buying and selling,illegal drug trafficking".

Seized evidence includes: 6 kg of crystal meth, 24,000 methamphetamine pills, 1 Huyndai I10 car with license plate 37A - 456.95.
At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed to their crimes. Specifically, on March 17, 2021, the subjects from Hanoi rented a Huyndai i10 taxi, license plate 37A - 456.95 to go to Vinh City.

Here, they rented a self-driving car to go to the border area of Huong Son district (Ha Tinh) to make transactions, made appointments with Lao people to deliver money and receive drugs, then took them to the northern provinces for consumption.
While moving through Nghe An province, he was discovered and arrested. In this case, Vu Anh Tuan was identified as the mastermind and director of the illegal drug trafficking activities.
