Brought girlfriend to motel, murdered and robbed
Nguyen Viet Hung took his girlfriend to a motel, then murdered her, robbed her of her bracelet, phone and identification papers.

Before that, at about 18:10 on March 20, in the room inguest housein Dong Khe ward, Ngo Quyen district, Hung hasmurdergirlfriend, 44 years old, residing in Ha Ly ward, Hong Bang district. The initial cause was determined by authorities to be due to emotional conflict.
While fleeing, Hung used a knife to slash a local resident, injuring him in the head. Hung was later arrested while being treated at Viet Tiep Hospital in Hai Phong.
