The warehouse is storing thousands of fake shoes and sandals of world famous brands such as: Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Burberry, Adidas, LV, Zara, Hermes. The owner of the facility was completely surprised by this sudden inspection.
On the afternoon of March 29, Market Management Team No. 16 - Hanoi Market Management Department coordinated with the Economic Police Team - Long Bien District Police to raid and inspect the warehouse at house number 30, lane 56, alley 139 Thach Cau, Long Bien, Hanoi City.

Warehouse area over 100 m2The facility was rented by the owner, Bui Thi Giang (born in 1988, residing in Tho Ngoc, Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa) to store fashion shoes and sandals with tens of thousands of products neatly arranged and divided by brand by the owner. It took more than 4 hours for the Inspection Team to be able to classify the products with signs of violations at this facility.

According to Mr. Nguyen Sy Binh - Captain of Market Management Team No. 16, Hanoi Market Management Department, to destroy this facility, the authorities had to conduct reconnaissance and monitoring for many months. "This business operates mainly online, livestreaming sales via Facebook and some e-commerce platforms.
According to preliminary counts, the number of goods with signs of counterfeiting famous world brands such as Versace, Gucci, Adidas, LV, Burberry, Chanel, Dior... is up to over 3,000 products," Mr. Binh informed.
In particular, to avoid inspection by authorities, the owner of the facility often closes the door. Only when there is a transaction of goods will the owner open the door and deliver the goods to customers.
Working with the inspection team, the owner of the facility could not present documents proving the legal origin of the goods and admitted to importing the goods from an unknown source on social networks to do business for profit.
The inspection team seized and sealed all goods showing signs of violations for handling according to regulations.
