Quickly resolve the chaos in front of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - In front of Nghe An General Hospital, there has been a long-standing situation of haphazard business, encroachment on the roadside, causing traffic jams and urban disorder. Although this situation has been going on for a long time, the solution is currently at a standstill.
Nghe An General Hospitallocated in hamlet 14, Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city). For a long time, right in front of the hospital gate, there has been a chaotic trading situation, causing traffic jams, especially during rush hour. In particular, because this hospital is located next toLenin Avenue, is the main artery, the gateway to the city, so this situation also destroys the urban beauty, affecting the overall appearance of the whole city.
According to the reporter's records, the chaotic trading and encroachment of sidewalks and roadsides in this area mainly occurs during rush hours, especially in the morning from 6:30 to 7:30, at noon from 10:30 to 11:30 and in the afternoon from 16:30 to 17:30. These are the times when people visiting patients go out to buy goods and food at the street stalls in front of the hospital gate.

Trading in the area around the gate of Nghe An General Hospital is spontaneous, sometimes there are up to 30 shops, sometimes there are fewer.roadside stallsIt was set up very temporarily, with only a few portable umbrellas and the rest being tents. When it rains, it is very shabby.
Because it mainly serves the needs of patients and their caregivers, the items sold in this area are mostly breakfast, lunch, dinner, and stalls that rent folding beds, sell soap, wash basins, etc.

This situation has been going on for a long time, mainly because local people do not have stable jobs, because their production land has been confiscated, so they bring their shops out to the street to do business. During rush hours, the commune also has to arrange urban regulation forces to ensure order.
Mr. Thanh said that to solve this situation, Vinh City People's Committee has decided to build a temporary market, located about 100m south of the hospital gate on the land of a member of Hong Hoa Thai Cooperative (Nghi Phu), to bring people in to do business and trade, to avoid traffic congestion and loss of urban beauty. However, because the implementing unit did not agree on the land issue with the people, the problem of solving the chaos in front of Nghe An General Hospital's gate has not been solved yet.

Mr. Pham Van Hoa - Chairman of Hong Hoa Thai Cooperative said: Previously, the Cooperative had asked for permission from the authorities to build a temporary market to create a place for people to do business and trade. The location for the temporary market is the land of the Cooperative members. Currently, there are 2 households with land adjacent to Lenin Avenue who do not agree to give up the land to the Cooperative, saying that they should do business on their own, which is why the construction of the temporary market has not been carried out yet.
Nghi Phu Commune is one of the localities with large areas of Vinh City. Currently, this locality has 2 markets, including Quan Banh Market (located in Hamlet 1, near Quan Banh overpass and Nguyen Trai Street) and Moi Dau Market (located in Hamlet 7, at the corner of Mai Lao Bang Street and Lenin Avenue). These two markets are about 4 km apart, while the population density of Nghi Phu Commune is increasing due to urban development.
The lack of planning for additional markets has led to the appearance of many street markets and stalls selling meat, fish, vegetables and tubers for local people on the roads surrounding Nghi Phu Commune People's Committee. This is also a headache that this locality is having to solve.
