Eighth-grade boy stabbed to death by classmate.

Due to an altercation during recess, Nguyen Van Hoang Duong, an 8th-grade student at Hong Ha Secondary School, was stabbed to death by a classmate.

According to the leaders of Hong Ha commune People's Committee, Dan Phuong district (Hanoi), at 8:50 AM during recess at Hong Ha Secondary School, Hoang Duong got into a fight with a 9th-grade male student from the same school. Out of anger, the 9th-grade student used a knife.stabHe punched Duong in the chest, causing the victim to...collapse, bleeding profusely.

Duong was taken to the Hong Ha Commune Health Station for first aid, then transferred to Dan Phuong District General Hospital, 7 km from the school. However, due to the severity of his injuries and significant blood loss, Duong died at the hospital.

The family cremated and buried Duong on the evening of April 1st. Authorities are currently holding the 9th-grade student for questioning and investigation into the incident.
