Announcement of the date Putin reads the message to the Federal Assembly
The date on which Russian President Putin will deliver his annual address to the Federal Assembly was announced to reporters by the head of state's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"The President will read a message to the Federal Assembly on April 21," he said.
The Kremlin spokesman added that the event's venue would be announced later. Various options are being considered, he explained.

"We will not run ahead. I think in the near future, we will announce to the media representatives the confirmation of this event, and at the same time we will also announce the location," Peskov clarified.
What issues will be raised in the message?

“As for adjusting pensions for working pensioners, the government has been actively engaged in this issue, indeed, the ministers have sent the president different options,” the Kremlin spokesman said, answering a question about whether the message referred to pensions. Peskov added that “no decisions have been made here (on pensions for working pensioners).”
