The victim was Nguyen Van S., a 10th grade student at Quynh Luu 1 High School, the second son of Mr. Nguyen Van D. (residing in block 11 of the town).
Accordingly, at around 12 midnight, when Mr. Dung and his wife were sleeping downstairs, they heard a noise in their son's room and ran upstairs to find Sang dead with an electric wire attached to his leg and headphones still in his ears.
On the morning of April 10, the family held a funeral for the victim according to local customs.
