Zelensky asks Biden to help Ukraine quickly join NATO

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has made an offer to his US counterpart Joe Biden for help in efforts to contain Russia.
Accordingly, President Zelensky called the US a "good friend" of Ukraine, so Mr. Biden "will have to do more" to deal with Russia and come up with a solution to end the conflict in the Donbass region.
According to President Zelensky, Kiev needs more financial resources, military weapons and most importantly, active support to help Ukraine join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
"If the US wants to see us in NATO, they must address this issue frankly and implement it. Not just with words," the Ukrainian leader said.
