(Baonghean.vn) - According to annual statistics in Nghe An, accidents involving students are on the rise. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, there were 8 incidents, killing 7 people and injuring 7 others. Therefore, disseminating and popularizing traffic safety regulations for these subjects is very important.

Attending the propaganda session were comrade Tran Le Thang - representative of the Nghe An Traffic Safety Committee; representative of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police; leaders of Vinh University and more than 500 students of the school.
In the first quarter of 2021 alone, there were 44 traffic accidents in the province, killing 31 people and injuring 30. Among students in the first quarter alone, there were 8 accidents, killing 7 people and injuring 7 others.

Also in the first quarter of 2021, the Provincial Police conducted administrative records on traffic safety in 17,908 cases; issued decisions to sanction 16,566 cases, and transferred to the treasury to collect fines of more than 18 billion 300 million VND. Some of the main violations include: not wearing a helmet; not having a driver's license; using alcohol or beer while participating in traffic; exceeding the speed limit; not obeying traffic lights...

At the propaganda session, the delegates analyzed the causes and consequences of violating traffic safety regulations. In addition, the delegates also pointed out related regulations and raised situational questions for students to better understand.
