Former district police chief was hacked to death
After a drinking party with his younger brother, Mr. Tran Viet Tien - former head of Tu Nghia District Police (Quang Ngai), was found dead with a wound on his neck.

On the afternoon of April 17, people saw Mr. Sy - Mr. Tien's younger brother, running out of a house deep in an alley in Nghia Thang commune (Tu Nghia district), covered in blood. People ran inside and discovered Mr. Tien's body near the gate.
The scene had many broken bricks, a shovel and a bloody knife lying in the yard.
