According to a report from the Department of Planning and Investment, in April...,The agricultural sector and local authorities focused on preventing and controlling diseases in livestock and poultry, especially African swine fever and lumpy skin disease in buffaloes and cattle. However, the industrial production index increased by 30.24% compared to the same period in 2020. The number of tourists visiting Nghe An began to increase rapidly in April, reaching an estimated 337,369.
Regarding investment in construction, attracting investment, and developing businesses.,As of March 31, 2021, the disbursement rate of public investment capital under provincial management reached 9.13%. State budget revenue in the first four months of 2021 is estimated at VND 5,862.7 billion, reaching 41.8% of the projected target. Of this, revenue from import and export activities is estimated at VND 583.5 billion, reaching 46.7% of the projected target, an increase of 79.3% compared to the same period last year.

As of April 16, 2021, the province had granted licenses to 30 new projects and adjusted 41 existing projects; the total newly licensed and increased investment capital amounted to VND 7,562.93 billion. Comrade Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health, said that the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the world and in the country is still developing complicatedly and affirmed that by May 5th, the vaccination of nearly 20,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine for eligible individuals will be completed.
