At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the origins and historical significance of International Labor Day, May 1. This is an occasion for the working class and laborers nationwide to review the tradition of fighting against foreign invaders and enthusiastically respond to patriotic emulation movements.

Over the past 10 years, the annual "Workers' Month" has always received close direction from the Party Committee, coordination from the government and departments, branches and Trade Union organizations, concretized with many practical and meaningful activities - and has become a festival for workers and laborers every May.

Promoting the spirit of International Labor Day May 1, closely following the plan and instructions of the Provincial Labor Federation, the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vinh City Labor Federation determined that the "Workers' Month" activities in 2021 need to be concretized with practical and effective activities such as: Propagating and mobilizing workers to respond to the program of 75,000 initiatives to overcome difficulties and develop; propagating, celebrating the 135th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1 and launching the Workers' Month in 2021 in all levels of the Union; mobilizing union members, civil servants, public employees and workers to actively participate in propaganda work, serve and demonstrate the role of voters in the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; Visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances; Praising exemplary families of workers; Surveying the construction of a union shelter for union members in difficult circumstances; Signing a union member welfare program; Organizing sports competitions for employees...

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor officially launched the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union website. Along with the Electronic Information Portal, the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union website with an independent link was born to further promotepropaganda work of the Provincial Federation of Labor, promoting the advantages of the internet, meeting the needs of updating and exploiting information of a large number of union members and workers. The Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Electronic Information Page was granted License No. 49/DP-TTDT by the Department of Information and Communications on April 22, 2021 with the address: laodongnghean.vn.
