(Baonghean.vn) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, on behalf of the provincial leaders, sent his deepest condolences to Nguyen Van Nha's family and affirmed that the government will consider and resolve policies in accordance with regulations.
On the morning of May 3, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led a working delegation of the province to visit, encourage and express condolences to the family of Nguyen Van Nha (born in 1998, residing in Quynh Yen commune, Quynh Luu). Accompanying him were comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Quynh Luu district.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung sent his deepest condolences to Nguyen Van Nha's family. Nha's selfless act of saving a drowning person is a brave act that deserves to be commended.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung also informed the family that after hearing the news, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc also sent condolences to the family and requested that the authorities consider submitting to the President the posthumous award of the Medal of Courage, and at the same time consider recognizing student Nguyen Van Nha as a martyr in accordance with regulations.

Previously, on May 2, the Central Youth Union decided to posthumously award the Brave Youth Badge to Nguyen Van Nha for his brave act of selflessly saving his friend.

As reported, on the afternoon of April 30, while swimming at the beach in Phu Thuan commune (Phu Vang district, Thua Thien - Hue province), Nguyen Van Nha (4th year student, University of Science - Hue University) discovered 3 female friends being swept away by waves from the shore, so he swam out to rescue them. After rescuing the 3 female friends to shore, Nha was exhausted and was swept away by the waves. After 30 minutes of searching, the rescue team at Phu Thuan beach found Nha's body.
It is known that Nha's family situation is extremely difficult, Nha's father has had a stroke for many years, and her mother is in poor health. Nha also has a deaf and mute older brother, and her grandparents are old and weak.
