Starting from May 6, the Youth Union of 17 communes and towns of Tuong Duong district grasped the situation of families preparing to organize weddings from the Executive Committees of villages and hamlets, then went to each house to propagate and persuade families to postpone 9 weddings planned to be held in May.
Many families, although they had already sent out wedding invitations, ordered food, and set up a tent, after being informed and encouraged, they set an example and agreed to hold the wedding when the epidemic was under control so that their children's happy day would be more complete.
Along with Tuong Duong, currently, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Nghe An province have been making every effort to propagate to people to better understand the work of disease prevention and control, thereby mobilizing many families to temporarily postpone weddings and not organize large gatherings to ensure the common interests of the whole society.
