Nghe An Department of Health guides quarantine for people who have been to K3 Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - People who have been to K Hospital, branch 3, will be quarantined at home for 21 days from the last day of arrival or stay at the hospital; those who have been to departments and rooms with recorded Covid-19 cases will be quarantined in a centralized manner.
On the evening of May 7, Nghe An Department of Health issued Official Dispatch 1609 on reviewing the implementation of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control for citizens related to the Central Cancer Hospital, Branch 3, to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of districts, cities and towns; Provincial Center for Disease Control; Medical Centers of districts, cities and towns; and medical examination and treatment facilities in the area.

The Department of Health requested the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of districts, cities and towns to direct communes/wards/towns, medical centers, departments, branches and unions in the area to urgently organize screening, listing, classifying, quarantining and taking samples.testAccording to regulations, cases of examination, treatment, care, and visiting patients at the Central Cancer Hospital (Facility 3 in Tan Trieu, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi) from April 16, 2021 to May 7, 2021.
These cases will be quarantined at home for 21 days from the last day of arrival or stay at the hospital, tested at least twice (the first time upon detection in the locality), then continue to monitor their health at their place of residence for the next 7 days.
As for those who have been to departments and rooms where Covid-19 cases have been recorded, they will be quarantined, have their samples taken for testing, and take disease prevention measures like those who have been in close contact with positive cases according to current regulations.
Health serviceRequest the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control at all levels and relevant departments to step up propaganda work, requiring all people returning from the Central Cancer Hospital, Tan Trieu Branch 3 during the above period to notify the local authorities and medical facilities where they reside to receive instructions in accordance with regulations on epidemic prevention and control.
Request medical examination and treatment facilities in the province to review all patients being treated at the unit. If any patient is discovered to have been examined and treated at the Central Cancer Hospital (Tan Trieu 3 facility) from April 16, 2021 to May 7, 2021, make a list, conduct epidemiological investigation, conduct quarantine according to regulations, and at the same time notify the local medical center and the provincial Center for Disease Control to coordinate implementation to ensure compliance with regulations in Covid-19 epidemic prevention./.
