Evening of May 10: 16 more domestic cases, record 125 Covid-19 cases in one day
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, the Ministry of Health recorded 125 cases of community transmission.
On the afternoon of May 10, the Ministry of Health recorded 17 more positive cases of nCoV, of which 16 were domestically infected and one imported case was immediately quarantined.
The 16 new cases recorded domestically were all in locked-down areas in Hung Yen (6), Da Nang (4), Bac Giang (3), Hanoi (2), Vinh Phuc (1). One case was quarantined immediately after entering the country in Ha Tinh.
Thus, today, the Ministry of Health recorded 125 cases of community transmission. This is the largest number of cases recorded in one day. This is also the second consecutive time a record number of cases has been recorded. A day ago, the Ministry of Health recorded 92 cases of community transmission in one day.
As of 6:00 p.m. on May 10, Vietnam had a total of 2,028 domestic cases and 1,433 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 to present: 458 cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, 4 Covid-19 patients being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases all have underlying diseases, with severe progression, and were consulted by experts on the afternoon of May 10. These four cases were consulted online nationwide by the Treatment Subcommittee of the Ministry of Health this afternoon to treat severe Covid-19 patients. Of the 4 patients, one case required ECMO intervention (extracorporeal circulation), "patient 3019", from Thai Binh.
