| On the morning of May 14, in Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district, the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to organize a launching ceremony of the movement "All people participate in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic; illegal entry and exit"; mobilizing people to participate in the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2021-2026 in border areas. Attending the launching ceremony were comrades Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and leaders of Tuong Duong district, Tam Hop commune, and Tam Hop Border Guard Station.
This is an activity to concretize the Prime Minister's policy and the direction of the Army Command.Border guardsto strengthen the protection of territorial sovereignty, national border security and Covid-19 prevention in the new situation, promote socio-economic development, and build great national unity in border areas.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province stated: Recently, when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, people from all walks of life in the country and overseas Vietnamese have given valuable sentiments and timely support both materially and spiritually to join hands in preventing the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is the sentiments, compassion, responsibility to the community, and meaningful gifts of support that have spread, creating the strength of great national unity, clearly demonstrating the spirit of "every citizen is a soldier; every organization, business, agency, unit, every family is a fortress" that has contributed to containing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic well in the whole country in general and Nghe An province in particular.

However, currently, the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the world, region and in the country continues to be very complicated.
Nghe An is a province with a large area; a long border with many trails and crossing points. In the face of complicated illegal immigration activities into our country, with many potential risks of spreading epidemics, localities, especially border areas, need to strengthen border control, strictly manage immigration and exit activities, and prevent illegal border crossings; at the same time, launch a movement for the whole population to participate in denouncing illegal immigrants.
