Nghe An: Calling on people who have been in contact with Covid-19 patients since early May to proactively declare

(Baonghean.vn) - In the context of not finding the source of the infection, Dien Chau district announced to find all those who had direct contact with patient PVL (34 years old, Dien Bich commune, Dien Chau), between May 1 and May 21.

On the morning of May 26, Mr. Tang Van Luyen - Chairman of Dien Chau District People's Committee said that the District Covid-19 Prevention Steering Committee has just sent an urgent notice to relevant units and localities about the case of a citizen of Dien Bich commune discovered after entering Laos.

Dien Chau's urgent document announces to find all those who have had direct contact with patient PVL (34 years old, Dien Bich commune, Dien Chau), between May 1 and May 21. (Within 21 days before the patient left the country).

In addition, Dien Chau district is also looking for all those who have been to the following locations and taken the following means: Hai Bac Hamlet Cultural House (Dien Bich Commune), between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on May 19; Dien Bich Commune People's Committee at 8:00 p.m. on May 19, 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on May 20; Ut Thu Pho Restaurant (Dien Ngoc Commune), around 7:15 a.m. on May 20....

Sugarcane juice shop in Hai Trung hamlet (Dien Bich commune), at around 3:00 p.m. on May 20; Uncle Muoi's barber shop in Hai Trung hamlet at around 3:15 p.m. on May 20; Tuan Hung bus with license plate 27B-00073, departing from Dien Chau at 6:10 p.m. on May 20, arriving at Dien Bien bus station at 8:10 a.m. on May 21; Son Ha shop (Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa), between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. on May 20; Quoc Phong bus with license plate 27B-00267, departing from Dien Bien to Tay Trang border gate at 12:30 p.m. on May 21.

The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Dien Chau District recommends that all those who have been in contact with Mr. PVL and visited all locations during the above period immediately contact the Dien Chau District Medical Center via phone number 0383.622.019 or Dr. Thai Phan At, phone number 0914.954.286. Or go to the People's Committees of communes, wards, towns and the nearest medical facility to make a declaration.

"Identifying F1 cases is very important in identifying the next F cases and having the optimal plan for epidemic prevention. The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Dien Chau district hopes that all people and agencies and units will promptly notify if there is relevant information," the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Chau district called.

Previously, on May 19, Mr. Pham Van L. (34 years old, Dien Bich commune, Dien Chau), went to CDC Nghe An to get tested and the result was negative for Covid-19. On the evening of May 20, he took a bus to Dien Bien and then to Laos via Tay Trang border gate. Upon entering Laos, he was immediately quarantined and had a sample taken for testing on the morning of May 22. The result showed that he was infected with Covid-19.

By the morning of May 26, the health authorities had traced 74 people in the F1 category. All were taken to centralized quarantine areas. The first test results showed that all were negative for Covid-19. However, the health authorities have yet to find the source of infection for this patient.
