Preliminary results of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels of Nghe An province

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the assessment of the Nghe An Provincial Election Committee, the election took place in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the Law and ensured appropriate implementation in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the Commission's assessmentelectorIn the province, by the end of the voting period (01 unit extended the voting time to 9:00 p.m.), there were 2,073,328 voters out of 2,095,831 on the list, reaching 98.93% of the voters on the list. There were 02 districts with 100% voter turnout, namely Quy Chau district and Cua Lo town; the unit with the lowest number of voters was Dien Chau district, 96.94%. The election took place in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the Law and ensured appropriate implementation in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic.

At constituency number 3 at the cultural house of block 6, Cua Nam ward (Vinh city) - where about 15% of voters are Catholics, after the weekly Sunday mass, parish priest Nguyen Xuan Ke and voters in Cau Ram parish personally cast their ballots to elect the most outstanding people as elected representatives - representing the will and aspirations of the people in general and of religious people in particular.

- Structure: Female 04 (30.77%); ethnic minority 03 (23.08%); non-Party 0; re-elected 03 (23.00%); religion 0; self-nominated 0.

- Components: Party agency 01 (0.76%); government 08 (61.54%); Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations of the Fatherland Front 03 (23.08%); Army, Public Security 01 (0.76%).

Election results of People's Council delegates at all levels in terms of quantity, structure, composition and qualifications of elected candidates.

Provincial People's Council:

- Number: 83 out of 83 elected delegates.

- Structure: Female 23 (27.71%); ethnic minorities 11 (13.25%); young 11 (13.25%); non-Party 07 (8.43%); re-elected 25 (30.12%); religious 02 (2.41%).

- Components: 23 Party agencies (27.71%); 33 government agencies (39.76%); 17 Fatherland Front Committees and member organizations of the Fatherland Front (20.48%); 01 People's Court (1.20%); 01 People's Procuracy (1.20%); 02 Military and Public Security agencies (2.41%); 06 other agencies and units (7.23%).

District People's Council:

- Number: 736 out of 737 delegates elected.

- Structure: Female 230 (31.25%); ethnic minorities 148 (20.11%); young 163 (22.15%); non-Party 49 (6.66%); re-elected 289 (39.27%); religious 22 (2.99%).

- Components: Party agencies 195 (26.49%); government 243 (33.02%); Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations of the Fatherland Front 169 (22.96%); People's Court 02 (0.27%); People's Procuracy 03 (0.41%); Army, Public Security 44 (5.98%); Other agencies and units 80 (10.87%).

Commune People's Council:

- Number: 10,885 delegates elected out of 10,991 designated delegates.

- Structure: Female 3,262 (29.97%); ethnic minorities 2,042 (18.76%); young 3,642 (33.46%); non-Party 1,570 (14.42%); re-election 5,285 (48.55%); religion 418 (3.84%); self-nomination 5 (0.05%).

- Components: Party agencies 1,418 (accounting for 13.03%); government 2,713 (24.92%); Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations of the Fatherland Front 3,308 (30.39%); People's Court 0; People's Procuracy 0; Army, Public Security 856 (7.86%); Other agencies and units 2,590 (23.79%).

The provincial election committee said that no unit had to hold a re-election. The whole province had 4 units electing People's Council deputies at the commune level that had to hold additional elections because they did not elect 2/3 of the designated number of deputies, specifically:

- Constituency No. 6, Quynh Lap Commune, Hoang Mai Town elected 03 delegates, but the result was no delegate; 03 more delegates were elected.

- Constituency No. 1, Quynh Luong commune, Quynh Luu district elected 02 delegates, the result was 01 delegate; 01 additional delegate was elected.

- Constituency No. 10, Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district elected 02 delegates, the result was 01 delegate; 01 additional delegate was elected.

- Constituency No. 2, Nam Hung Commune, Nam Dan District elected 05 delegates, with 03 delegates winning; 02 more delegates elected.
