4 First Prizes were awarded at the Nghe An Provincial Vocational Skills Competition in 2021

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 27, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held the closing ceremony of the 2021 Nghe An Provincial Vocational Skills Competition.

Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

This year's Vocational Skills Competition was held with the largest scale, number of occupations and number of contestants ever with 33 contestants from 12 vocational training institutions. There are 6 occupations organized for the competition including: Automotive technology, welding, refrigeration, electrical installation; fashion technology, cooking and 6 performing occupations - these are occupations with high demand for human resources in the country, ASEAN region and the world.

Vocational skills is an exam held every two years. This year's exam was highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee for the level of vocational skills, psychology and courage of the candidates; many students demonstrated truly excellent vocational skills.

At the end of the competition, 3 units with excellent achievements were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 4 First Prizes were awarded to the following students: Vi Thi Huong Ly - Fashion Technology, Nghe An College of Economics - Industry - Handicrafts; Trinh Xuan Duc - Electrical Installation; Luong Van Toan - Welding, Nghe An Viet - Duc College and Ha Van Hoan - Cooking, Nghe An College of Economics and Technology No. 1.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 5 Second prizes, 5 Third prizes and 11 Consolation prizes; rewarded 25 experts with achievements in training candidates who won prizes in the Nghe An Provincial Vocational Skills Competition in 2021.
