This year's Buddha's Birthday celebration is taking place amidst the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the directives of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the announcements of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee regarding the organization of the Buddha's Birthday celebration (Buddhist calendar 2565), temples and monasteries throughout the province are organizing the celebration solemnly and respectfully according to traditional rituals, avoiding large gatherings and strictly implementing disease prevention and control measures.
This year's Buddha's Birthday celebration takes place from April 1st to April 15th according to the lunar calendar, with the week of Buddha's Birthday beginning on April 8th and the main ceremony held on April 15th.
