Today, more than 36,000 Nghe An candidates officially entered the 10th grade entrance exam.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is an exam that Nghe An must carry out two tasks in parallel, which are to organize a safe exam, do a good job of enrollment, and prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2021-2022 school year was held over 2 days (June 3 and 4), with the participation of 36,407 candidates at 70 examination councils with 71 examination locations.
In which, there is 1 test site at Secondary School.Dien Bich(Dien Chau) is the testing site for 113 candidates who are subject to social distancing.
The provincial Ethnic Minority High School examination council has two examination sites: the provincial Ethnic Minority High School and Nguyen Trai High School.
The whole province has 1,558 examination rooms, of which each examination site has at least 1 spare examination room for subjects in categories F1, F2, F3.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam took place in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, entering this year's exam, Nghe An proactively reduced the number of subjects and candidates only had to take 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. Of which, Math and Literature have a coefficient of 2 and Foreign Language has a coefficient of 1. This result is also one of the bases for admission scores to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
Due to the number of candidates taking the exam increased by nearly 1,500CandidateCompared to the previous exam, Nghe An mobilized 5,288 people to serve the exam. Of which, the number of invigilators was 3,655 people and more than 800 people worked as inspectors and security guards.
To ensure safety and strict compliance with regulations, Nghe An Department of Education and Training has established 4 mobile inspection teams to inspect the 10th grade entrance exam in 21 districts, cities and towns.

To prepare for this year's exam, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also issued Directive No. 19 to strengthen the direction and request localities, departments, branches and relevant sectors to coordinate to fully prepare human resources, facilities, equipment and funding to organize the exam to ensure that the exam is conducted smoothly, safely, seriously, objectively and in accordance with regulations.

According to the plan, at exactly 8:00 a.m. this morning, June 3, candidates will take the first exam, Literature, in the form of a written test, lasting 120 minutes. In the afternoon, at exactly 3:00 p.m., candidates will take the second exam, Foreign Language, in the form of a multiple-choice test, lasting 60 minutes.
