The leaders of Song Lam Nghe An Club have just decided to appoint new personnel for the first team coaching staff during the restructuring period, including head coach Huy Hoang and 3 assistants: Pham Bui Minh, Phan Nhu Thuat and Pham Van Quyen.
Thus, interim coach Huy Hoang and assistant Phan Nhu Thuat continue to be trusted by the team's new leadership and have added two new members to the first team from the U19 coaching staff, coach Pham Bui Minh and assistant Pham Van Quyen.

The progress of Head Coach Huy Hoang, at first glance, seems to be a "lightning-fast appointment" but in fact, in the past, SLNA has not had a few cases where a key player was trained and assigned the task of captain, then matured from coaching youth teams, became assistant and head coach of the first team. We can mention Quang Hai, Huu Thang, Quang Truong and currently Huy Hoang. What is known is that among the above coaches, only Huu Thang has successfully completed his task in the first team with the 2011 National Championship and bravely accepted the task of head coach of the National Team and U23 Vietnam afterwards but was not successful.

Why did SLNA's Board of Directors boldly appoint Huy Hoang and his associates, who are famous as players, but not those with significant achievements in the technical area, from the youth teams as well as the first team?
No one can fully answer this question, only knowing that Huy Hoang and his colleagues were assigned the immediate task of helping the team stay in the league successfully and then, more importantly and must do it, is to regain the team's inherent glory.
It is known that, for now, Huy Hoang and his colleagues are being provided with material and spiritual conditions in a simple and practical way, "only with reality can we uphold the way", not to let "losing to the younger brother, being inferior to the older sister" become chronic as it has been for a long time.
