However, on the morning of June 8, on the streets of Vinh city, some shops were still openly open to sell food and drink on the spot.

Along Ha Huy Tap, Nguyen Van Cu, Truong Chinh, Dao Tan, Tran Hung Dao, Ngo Duc Ke streets, many shops still sell goods openly, people eat and drink in defiance of regulations.prevention and control of epidemics.

Some shops even closed their doors to let customers eat and drink indoors. To minimize the spread of the disease and strictly implement the regulations of the Provincial People's Committee, the City People's Committee, the authorities and functional forces of the wards and communes of Vinh city need to strengthencheck, remind and strictly handle violations.

Previously, on June 7, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung - Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested citizens returning from epidemic areas, including Ha Tinh province, when returning to Nghe An (and vice versa) to strictly comply with medical declarations according to regulations. In addition, passenger transport activities departing from Nghe An province to Ha Tinh province (and vice versa) were temporarily suspended, including: bus routes, fixed routes, taxis, and contracted tourist vehicles. Freight vehicles are allowed to operate but must ensure requirements for Covid-19 prevention and control according to regulations. The Department of Transport issued specific documents guiding people and businesses to implement this content.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested to temporarily suspend non-essential service activities: restaurants, food and beverage establishments, coffee shops, hair salons, beauty salons in the following areas: Vinh City, Cua Lo Town; Nghi Loc District, Hung Nguyen District, Nam Dan District (food and beverage business services are sold to take-away customers). In addition, temporarily suspend driver testing and training activities in the above 5 localities. Implementation time is from 0:00 on June 8, 2021.
In other localities, these services are allowed to operate but must ensure regulations on epidemic prevention and control. For other non-essential services, they will continue to be temporarily suspended throughout the province according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 2732/UBND-VX dated May 6, 2021.
