Morning of June 8: 44 more cases nationwide; Ha Tinh locked down the provincial General Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) - In Ha Tinh, this morning, authorities temporarily locked down Ha Tinh General Hospital due to its connection to a suspected case of Covid-19.
The Ministry of Health on the morning of June 8 recorded 44 positive cases, including 43 domestic cases and one imported case that was immediately quarantined.
44 new cases were recorded from number 8984-9027. 43 cases were recorded domestically in Bac Giang 22 cases, Ho Chi Minh City 15 cases, Bac Ninh 6 cases. Of these, 41 cases were detected in quarantine areas or locked down areas.
The number of new infections brings the total number of cases in Bac Giang to 3,233, Bac Ninh to 1,128, and Ho Chi Minh City to 437. The total number of community infections from April 27 to now is 5,876, recorded in 39 provinces and cities.
Meanwhile, in Ha Tinh, this morning, authorities temporarily locked down Ha Tinh General Hospital because of its connection to a suspected Covid-19 case. To date, Ha Tinh has recorded 9 Covid-19 cases in this outbreak. A series of locations, mainly in Ha Tinh City, have been locked down to prevent the epidemic.

On the evening of June 7, the Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control urgently announced to find people who visited locations related to two new infections in the area. The Center requested all people present at the locations and times below to immediately contact the nearest medical facility for advice and support, and call the hotline 0961 202 026 to declare and consult.
