Implementing the assignment of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province, at 10:30 a.m. on June 14, the Hospital officially received, quarantined and treatedPatient 10732(first Covid-19 patient in Vinh city) at the Center for Tropical Diseases.

Before receiving the patient, the Hospital's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee directed the Tropical Disease Center to prepare adequate human resources and equipment and set aside a completely isolated area for Patient 10732; at the same time, regularly spray disinfectants at the Tropical Disease Center and the entire hospital.

After being admitted, Patient 10732 was placed in a negative pressure isolation room to ensure absolute safety in preventing cross-infection in the hospital and to ensure absolute safety in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Surveillance cameras, information exchange systems, and remote medical consultation are installed in the patient's room. The patient is being treated according to the Ministry of Health's protocol... Up to this point, Patient 10732's health is progressing well, with no fever, no cough, and no difficulty breathing.

Faced with the situation that a number of hospitals across the country have medical staff testing positive for SARS-CoV-2, the Hospital has proactively tested nearly 2,000 samples for staff, civil servants, and workers in the hospital.
