(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to Vinh City and Dien Chau District temporarily stopping due to cases, 2 other localities also had to stop due to many F1 cases in the area.

On the morning of June 17, Colonel Cao Minh Huyen - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police said that due to the complicated situation, the unit has directed to temporarily stop issuing citizen identification cards to people in some localities with outbreaks and localities with many F1 cases.

Localities that have temporarily stopped issuing ID cards include Vinh City, Nghi Loc District, Dien Chau District, and Thai Hoa Town. Vinh City and Dien Chau District are practicing social distancing due to the emergence of a number of cases. Nghi Loc and Thai Hoa Town, although they have not recorded any cases, have many F1s, with a high risk of infection.

"For other localities, we still have to serve the people," said Colonel Huyen.

During this outbreak, Nghe An recorded 5 Covid-19 cases in Vinh City (3 cases) and Dien Chau District (2 cases). Of these, 2 patients in Dien Chau District had participated in issuing CCCD cards to people in many communes before testing positive.

Up to now, Vinh City and Dien Chau District have implemented social distancing according to Directive 15. In addition, some localities at the commune and ward levels have implemented Directive 16./.
