Sau khi xuất hiện ca nhiễm Covid-19 thứ 2 tại TP Vinh, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Nguyễn Đức Trung quyết định phong tỏa theo Chỉ thị 16 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ đối với 3 khối Văn Tiến, Xuân Nam, Xuân Bắc; áp dụng giãn cách xã hội theo Chỉ thị 15 đối với toàn bộ phường Hưng Dũng (TP Vinh).
