Vinh Medical University mobilizes troops to support the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in Dien Chau

As of the afternoon of June 16, Nghe An has 4 cases of Covid-19 infection. The new Covid-19 case in Dien Chau district had been to many places and had contact with many people, so samples had to be taken for testing.

Faced with the complicated developments of the epidemic and responding to the call for medical staff to participate in the fight against the epidemic by the Ministry of Health and Nghe An Department of Health, more than 1,000 lecturers and students of Vinh Medical University have registered to volunteer to fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

At the departure ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Canh Phu - Rector of Vinh Medical University requested that members of the working delegation strictly comply with epidemic prevention regulations when performing duties in the locality; promote the sense of responsibility of medical staff and students, join hands to repel the epidemic and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

This is a special volunteer campaign promoting the spirit of pioneering and volunteering to take on new and difficult tasks of medical staff and students, demonstrating the determination to join forces and unite with the province and the whole country to repel and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.

Immediately after the departure ceremony, a group of nearly 50 officers, lecturers and volunteer students of Vinh Medical University were arranged in large passenger cars to depart from Vinh Medical University to Dien Chau district to participate in supporting local epidemic prevention and control work.
