Two days later, Huy's group kicked a girl riding a motorbike on Bui Van Su Street (Quy Duc Commune, Binh Chanh District), causing the victim to fall into a rice field. When the girl shouted, they brandished knives and threatened to slash her before escaping.
Determining the dangerous nature of the gang, the Criminal Police Department sent many detectives to arrest them. Recently, the police surrounded and arrested Huy and his accomplices.
Initially, the suspects admitted that since March, they have committed 12 robberies, taking 6 motorbikes, 6 phones and many other properties in Districts 7, 8 and Binh Chanh District. The victims were mainly women and some traders at Binh Dien wholesale market.
Police have detained Nguyen Van Toan (48 years old, from Long An) and Nguyen Tung Cang (46 years old) on charges of receiving property obtained through criminal acts.
