The Party Committee of Military Region 4 successfully completed its tasks in the first 6 months of 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 21, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 (elected by the congress) held a conference to contribute opinions to the leadership in implementing tasks for the last 6 months of 2021.
Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Commander of the Military Region and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Command of Military Region 4.

Reporting on the results of the leadership in the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2021, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4 closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to successfully complete military, defense and Party building tasks. Notably, the coordination in implementing local military and defense tasks, ensuring good security, politics and safety of the area; participating in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic; coordinating and directing the organization of elections for the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term achieved good results; training, combat readiness, force building and political quality were improved; logistics and techniques were well ensured; Party building was disciplined; the situation of the Military Region's armed forces and agencies and units was stable and developed.

The Military Region has opened over 350 training and fostering classes for cadres; organized 25 training classes on national defense and security (QP & AN) knowledge for the subjects; organized a test of soldiers' shooting skills in 2020, with 100% of the results being good and excellent; increased nearly 430 comrades to coordinate with the Border Guard Station to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic; mobilized 7 special cars to spray disinfectants in the Covid-19 epidemic areas in Nghe An and Ha Tinh; organized and completed quarantine for over 27,000 citizens and vaccinated over 2,000 cadres, employees and soldiers against Covid-19; helped Laos prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic with over 4 billion VND and collected the remains of 257 martyrs in Laos and in the country.

The conference discussed, contributed ideas, analyzed, and supplemented some contents on the results of leadership in implementing tasks in the first 6 months of 2021 and the leadership direction for the last 6 months of 2021.
The Military Region Party Committee continues to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions, conclusions, and projects on military and national defense; 9 key tasks identified by the Central Military Commission (CMC) and the Ministry of National Defense; successfully complete the remaining goals, targets, and main tasks in 2021. Coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to build a strong all-people national defense, a solid defense zone (KVPT); lead the building of VMTD agencies, units, and "exemplary, typical" units with increasingly high overall quality, qualifications, and combat readiness capabilities. Build a clean, strong, and exemplary Military Region 4 Party Committee.
In particular, 100% of agencies and units strictly implement the SSCĐ regime and order; coordinate to grasp and promptly and accurately handle situations, not to be passive or surprised; perform well the tasks of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic; overcome the consequences of natural disasters, rescue and relief; complete the content, training programs, education and training for the subjects; organize drills at all levels with good results and absolute safety; participate in competitions and sports events with high results; improve the quality of regular construction, comply with discipline; ensure good logistics, technical and financial work for the tasks.
