(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, PCR testing for Vinh city residents (samples were taken on the evening of June 20) is almost complete. So far, only 01 case of Covid-19 infection has been detected.

Through screening and PCR testing for Vinh city residents on the evening of June 20, Nghe An discovered 01 case positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, that is patient KMN, born in 1991; address at No. 6, Lane 5, Vo Thi Sau Street, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City. The case was announced on the afternoon of June 22.

On the evening of June 22, the Nghe An Department of Health dispatched 52 medical staff to 18 locations in Kim Lien and Nam Giang communes, Nam Dan district, to collect samples from people after a Covid-19 case appeared in Kim Lien commune. As a result, 5,200 test samples were collected and sent to Nghe An CDC for testing that night.
