Hung Nguyen Medical Center temporarily stops medical examination and treatment to receive Covid-19 patients

(Baonghean.vn) - The center has temporarily suspended medical examination and treatment activities from 0:00, June 24, 2021 until a new decision from the Department of Health, only accepting Covid-19 patients.

On June 23, Hung Nguyen Medical Center issued Notice No. 466/TTYT-KHNY on the temporary suspension of medical examination and treatment activities at Hung Nguyen District Medical Center from 0:00, June 24, 2021 until a new decision from the Department of Health; only receiving Covid-19 patients according to the plan of Field Hospital No. 1 of the Provincial People's Committee.

The medical examination and treatment for the people of Hung Nguyen district will be transferred to the units, Vinh City General Hospital, Nghi Loc Hospital, Nam Dan Hospital, depending on the choice and trust of the people with the hospitals. During the temporary suspension of operations, the medical examination and treatment at 18 commune and town health stations will continue to be implemented.

Previously, on June 10, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 3749/UBND on the establishment of a field hospital to treat Covid-19 patients. Accordingly, Hung Nguyen District Medical Center was requisitioned as a field hospital.

Since June 13, Nghe An has detected 43 positive cases of Covid-19, including: Vinh City has 30 cases, Dien Chau has 9 cases, Tan Ky has 1 case, Quy Hop has 1 case, Nam Dan has 1 case and Do Luong has 1 case. Many cases have unknown sources of infection, have complicated travel schedules, and have come into contact with many people.
