(Baonghean.vn) - On June 24, the People's Council of Con Cuong district, term XX, held its first session to elect key positions of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district for the 2021-2026 term and deploy a number of important tasks.

At the meeting, delegates listened to reports from the District People's Council and the District People's Committee on the structure and organization of the People's Council and People's Committee of Con Cuong district for the 2021-2026 term according to the Law on Organization of Local Government; approved the reports and elected the positions of the People's Council, People's Committee, and People's Court Judges for the 2021-2026 term.
The delegates trusted and elected comrade Lo Van Thao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the 19th District People's Council to continue holding the position of Chairman of the District People's Council; comrade Nguyen The Manh was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 20th Con Cuong District People's Council.

Comrade Hoang Sy Kien was re-elected as Chairman of the District People's Committee; Comrades Luong Dinh Viet and Vi Van Quy were elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. The meeting also elected and passed a Resolution confirming the election results of the positions of the People's Council, People's Committee, and People's Court Jury of the district.
