On the morning of July 1, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held an online conference with provincial and municipal Party Committees to implement Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on Standard Political Schools. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council chaired the conference.

BIG BREAKTHROUGH
Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: The Secretariat's issuance of Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 is a major breakthrough for political schools. The recognition of standard political schools aims to standardize and improve the quality of training activities, fostering cadres, scientific research, summarizing practices and other activities of the school.School of Politics.
“Recognizing a standard political school is also a certification of capacity, development orientation, and certification of the implementation of tasks assigned by the Party and the State. This is also one of the solutions to overcome laziness in studying politics; to unify the political training program from the central to the grassroots level” - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized.
Through the regulation of standard political schools, provincial and municipal political schools can self-assess according to each level. From there, help schools review missing criteria to build projects and roadmaps; create goals and motivation for schools to improve.

Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang emphasized: It is necessary to consider the construction of a standard political school as a fundamental solution, both short-term and long-term strategic, to be commensurate with the position and role, and to properly perform the functions and tasks identified by the Secretariat.
Accordingly, the training and development of staff must be standardized from lesson plan preparation to lectures in a consistent, systematic, and logical manner suitable for each group of students from elementary, intermediate to advanced levels...
Teaching content must be continuously renewed and regularly updated with programs, resolutions, and directives of the Party, State, Politburo, and Secretariat, as well as linked with practical connections to convey to students in the most authentic, vivid, and easy-to-understand way.
To do that, it requires the teaching staff to constantly improve their professional qualifications and skills; and increase field trips to get vivid materials to put into lectures.
REGULAR, LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT
According to comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, after the conference to implement Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on Standard Political Schools, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics will issue specific instructions for provincial and municipal political schools to refer to and review the development of projects and roadmaps to achieve the standards of standard political schools at different levels; coordinate with central ministries, departments and branches to issue procedures for assessing standard political schools.
Building a standard political school is a regular and long-term task. After being recognized as a standard political school, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics will continue to review and evaluate the performance of the schools' tasks.
Therefore, the question is how to maintain and protect one's brand after being recognized is the responsibility of schools, provincial and municipal leaders; with the support and supervision of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang also emphasized that the provincial political school is the only unit in the province that carries out training and fostering of provincial-level officials, so it is necessary to avoid "encroachment" by other units in the work.training and development of staff.

Discussing at the conference, the provincial and municipal Party Committees proposed difficulties and obstacles in implementing Regulation 11 of the Secretariat. At the same time, they recommended that the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics soon issue specific instructions on building standard schools, as well as regulations on maintaining the criteria for standard political schools; continue to strengthen the training and professional development of cadres and lecturers of political schools; pay attention to the rotation of cadres who are lecturers of political schools to work in localities, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Principal of Nghe An Provincial Political School Le Thi Hoai Chung affirmed: In response to the requirements of the new period, Nghe An Provincial Political School will constantly innovate, have a strategic vision for synchronous and comprehensive development, take quality and operational efficiency as a measure, strive to achieve a standard Political School at level 1 in the 2021 - 2025 period, and move towards achieving the standard at level 2 in the following years.

To achieve the goal of building Nghe An Provincial Political School to meet the standard political school, Nghe An Provincial Political School will synchronously and comprehensively implement groups of solutions, such as: Proactively advising the Provincial Party Committee to issue a Project/Plan to build Nghe An Provincial Political School to meet the standards for the period 2021 - 2025.
Along with that, we focus on developing human resources at the Provincial Political School; perfecting the organization and apparatus associated with building a team of cadres and lecturers with sufficient quantity and quality to meet the requirements of innovation. Increasing investment in facilities and technical equipment for teaching, research and study in a complete, synchronous and modern manner. In addition, the School will strengthen discipline, order, improve the quality of teaching, learning, management and serve the training of ethics, lifestyle and teaching style.
Nghe An Provincial Political School hopes to continue receiving the attention and guidance of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee; and the synchronous coordination of all levels and sectors to soon complete the set goals.
Regulation No. 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on Standard Political Schools stipulates that there are two levels of standard political schools, including standard level 1 and standard level 2. Standard political schools at level 2 meet specific targets of each criterion higher than standard level 1.
The time for evaluating the criteria for recognition as a standard political school is 5 years from the date the school submitted its application for recognition as a standard political school.
