After many complaints from fishermen and local authorities, Hon Lo lighthouse in Cua Lo sea area has been restored with a total investment of 3 billion VND, invested by the Northern Maritime Safety Assurance Corporation.

The process of building the toplighthouseWorking at sea encountered many difficulties, especially transporting materials from the mainland to the sea and construction was greatly affected by weather factors, strong waves... However, the project was still on schedule.

The restored lighthouse has a cylindrical shape, with two colors: yellow and black, a total height of 16.33 meters, a 360-degree lighting range, a light range of 8.0 nautical miles with an atmospheric transmittance coefficient of T=0.74.
