The continued postponement of the V-League is causing extreme anxiety for coach Park?
(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnamese national team and coach Park Hang-seo will undoubtedly be significantly affected by the fact that the V-League has not been able to resume as most recently planned.
Given the complex situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, on July 8th, VPF announced to V-League and First Division clubs that they would temporarily suspend plans to resume the 2021 national professional football leagues instead of returning at the end of the month as originally scheduled.
This is not the first time.V.LeagueThe First Division league had to be suspended due to the pandemic this season, because the VPF had previously announced the postponement of many rounds and agreed to suspend it after round 12 ended in May.

The change in plans was unavoidable, and with the rather complex developments of the pandemic, the return date for the 2021 season is almost impossible to determine precisely, even though VPF had previously agreed on a plan to hold centralized matches in the North with 14 V-League clubs.
Nevertheless, the decision to suspend professional leagues at this time has received consensus from the teams, as the safety of players, clubs, and fans must be prioritized.
The fact that the V-League 2021 cannot resume on July 31st is clearly causing not only confusion for the VFF, VPF, and the clubs, but also extreme anxiety for coach Park Hang-seo.
It should be reiterated that the reason for continuing to organize the V-League 2021 from the end of July to August 22nd is to closely follow the training schedule for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, as well as other tournaments for the Vietnamese national team and the U22 Vietnamese team.

However, the disruption to the tournament schedule due to unforeseen circumstances is causing difficulties for coach Park Hang-seo, as there is a high probability that the V-League will not be able to finish as planned and could easily clash with the Vietnamese national team or the U22 Vietnamese team's participation in the Asian qualifiers...
It's not just a matter of overlapping schedules; the fact that the V-League has yet to set a return date is also causing problems.Coach Park Hang-seoVietnam is in a difficult position in finding new players for both the senior national team and the U22 team in order to meet the previously set targets.
Furthermore, the South Korean coach has every reason to worry about whether the players can maintain their form, given that the league has yet to resume, and the Vietnamese national team will gather in the third week of August before playing against Saudi Arabia in early September.
It's worth noting that the success of the Vietnamese national team in the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers was significantly contributed to by the V-League, which helped players maintain or regain their form about halfway through the season – something that Malaysia, Indonesia, and even Thailand failed to do.
That's why the fact that the V-League 2021 hasn't resumed yet is causing Coach Park extreme anxiety, especially since the road ahead is much more difficult than what the Vietnamese national team has already gone through.
